This real-world object-centric event log captures scientific publication data for Wil van der Aalst. It connects publications with authors, topics or keywords, conferences, citations, and the relationships between them, making it suitable for exploring publication and collaboration patterns with object-centric process mining.

The dataset accompanies the paper Object-Centric Extraction and Analysis of Scientific Publications, published in Mining a Scientist’s Process (2026), pp. 662–678. The paper presents a generic extractor for transforming scientific publication data into an OCEL and uses Wil van der Aalst’s publication corpus as its case study.
